The Critical Illness Recovery Plan policy pays a lump-sum benefit if you are diagnosed with any of the following covered critical illnesses or conditions and satisfy the survival period, as defined by the policy:



- Aortic surgery

- Alzheimer disease

- Cancer

- Deafness

- Loss of limbs

- Benign brain tumour

- Coma

- Functional dependence‡

- Heart valve replacement surgery

- Heart attack

- Major organ transplant

- Occupational HIV infection

- Severe burns

- Loss of speech

- Motor neuron disease

- Parkinson disease

- Blindness

- Coronary artery - bypass surgery

- Chronic kidney failure

- Multiple sclerosis

- Paralysis

- Stroke
